I AM EXTREMELY PROUD TO HAVE BEEN AWARDED MY BIPP ASSOCIATESHIP QUALIFICATION!
In August 2016, just one year after getting my Licentiateship, I have been awarded my BIPP Associateship Qualification. This is the second step out of the three levels of Qualifications awarded by the BIPP, the British Institute of Professional Photography, and I am very proud to have my work recognised by such an institution!
The BIPP is the official qualifying body for Professional Photographers in the UK. Their Qualifications are a recognised benchmark for excellence and are very difficult to obtain, granting great prestige to those who get them. As I said above, I am extremely proud to have awarded my BIPP Associateship Qualification, and even more so because my presented Portfolio of 30 images has been accepted on first attempt, no resubmissions needed. I will keep working even harder than before to keep to the standards of excellence that this Qualification sets and demands, those same standards that my customers are accustomed to.
I’d like to thank every participant to my Workshops and everyone who purchased my prints for trusting the quality of my work: I hope this recognition will make you as happy as I am.

“Italian photographer Vieri Bottazzini ABIPP EP, has received recognition for his Landscape photography work after being awarded an Associateship by the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP).
Always a passionate photographer, in 2005, in the middle of a long career as a classical musician, Vieri finally gave in and decided to dedicate himself only to photography. So far, Vieri has been working mainly in the American Southwest, Scotland, Ireland, UK, Italy, France, Spain and Turkey. Exhibited and published internationally, his work is part of various private collections. With 20 years of University teaching behind him, he believes that teaching Workshops for very small groups is the best way to share his passion and enthusiasm for photography, and for the Earth, with selected like-minded people. Vieri strongly believes that a photograph cannot express anything without an artistic vision to inspire it; however, even the strongest of visions cannot be expressed at all without the support of solid photographic technique.
Building on two decades of teaching experience, Vieri has also designed landscape workshops for photographers wanting to expand their vision and improve their technique in the field, while travelling to some of the most beautiful places on earth.
When asked how he felt about achieving his Associateship, Vieri said: “I was thrilled to learn that I was granted my Associateship from the BIPP, just one year after getting my Licentiateship! It is an honour to have my work recognised by an organisation whose qualifications are so hard to get and are a benchmark for excellence worldwide, and I am sure that all the people who trusted the quality of my work and put their confidence in my teaching will be thrilled as well by this achievement.”
