SUCCESSFUL BIPP LICENTIATESHIP QUALIFICATION

I AM EXTREMELY PROUD OF MY SUCCESSFUL BIPP LICENTIATESHIP QUALIFICATION!
I am very pleased to announce my successful BIPP Licentiateship Qualification for Landscape Photography, awarded me at the beginning of 2015 by the BRITISH INSTITUTE OF PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY (BIPP)!
The BIPP is the official qualifying body for Professional Photographers in the UK and their Qualifications, a recognised benchmark for excellence, are very difficult to obtain. I am extremely proud to have been successful on my first attempt and will keep working as hard as I can to keep to the standards this Qualification sets and demands.
The Qualification process involved the digital submission of a 30 – 40 Landscape images’ Portfolio for evaluation. The Qualifying panel awarded me my Licentiateship a couple of weeks after my application. Incidentally, I received the news just after the beginning of the New Year, and that made for a great start of 2015 indeed!
Here is an abstract from the BIPP’s Press Release announcing my successful Qualification:
Italy based professional photographer, Vieri Bottazzini LBIPP, has received recognition for his Landscape photography after being awarded a Licentiateship by the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP).
Following a long career as a classical musician, Vieri started his photography business in 2005, turning his love of landscape photography into his profession. Viewing the landscape with an artist’s eye, Vieri travels the globe capturing the raw emotion of the world’s breathtaking vistas. His photography is passionate and powerful, and his images – ranging from cityscapes to deserts – highlight the earth’s natural beauty.
When asked about his achievement Vieri said “I am both honoured and proud to receive my Licentiateship from the British Institute of Professional Photographers for my Landscape photography. BIPP qualifications are a worldwide benchmark for excellence and to have my work recognised by such an organisation is wonderful, both for me and for my clients. In times such as these when everyone with a camera calls himself a photographer, such an achievement shows my customers once more that they are dealing with a professional, passionate photographer whose high standards they can trust. I got the news about my qualification at the start of 2015 – I couldn’t think of a better way to start the New Year!”
BIPP President, Roy Meiklejon FBIPP, stated “BIPP qualifications are among the most rigorous in the world. Qualification with the BIPP requires hard work, determination, commitment and lots of creativity”.
